The Gio-Form Hybrid System is a designed ergonomic dynamic alternating mattress replacement system combining the benefits of modern foam technology and traditional dynamic air mattresses. It has been designed and manufactured to be used even without a pump using high-quality materials.

The HF-welded ‘Dartex’ material outer cover stretches in multiple directions, with excellent permeability properties. The material meets stringent infection control requirements and is long-lasting.

There is no power source required. The Static Care Comfort Controller simply plugs onto the air outlet from the Bariatric Hybrid mattress and then regulates the air pressure within the air cells. The pressure within the air cells can be regulated from 10 mmHg to 30 mmHg. The ‘Plug and Play’ system is simple and easy to use. This enables the operator to personalize the comfort suitable for each patient during any period.

In the event of a fault, a comprehensive set of integral alarms will alert the nursing staff/operator. There is minimal operator control or input as well as very basic training, which makes the system ideal for the community. There is zero running cost and it is 100% reliable as there are no moving parts in the system.

Top Quality Components

The system has been designed in-house with utmost control of every stage of the design and manufacturing process. All injection molded components are tooled and manufactured in-house, along with the electronics and air distribution mechanisms utilizing a wealth of experience gathered over a period of over 40 years within the medical device industry.
